New to 1.2.3:
  • This is a forced release of L.I.A.M.², as such the things I was working on are not complete. However, there are a few annoyance fixes.
  • Script error line 27 or 28 missing '}' not an issue anymore. this was annoying as hell though...

  • Guild update sometimes caused L.I.A.M.² to crash. Not an issue anymore.

For those of you who didn't know you can update guilds in L.I.A.M.², click Set Destination, MORE, Update Guilds. If you click the second 'more' button, you will see an incomplete section of this version. It will be comleted in L.I.A.M.² 1.2.4.

New to 1.2.2:
  • Fixed L.I.A.M.² initiation crash. L.I.A.M.² 1.2.1 would crash if you had no VAMP.dat when you started. If uncompressed, this would only happen once.
  • Fixed potentially harmful problem with the about box in 1.2.1. Viewing the about box caused the first vampire on your list to login, which, if done concurently, could cause you to waste some AP... Mind you, I dont think anyone looked at the about box 6 times in a row...
  • Created a default vampire record. VirtuaVAMP will now be created on startup if you don't currently have a VAMP.dat
  • Added 1 new emoticon to the emoticon tutorial, as well as 1 that I previously forgot to list.
  • Updated the help information about emoticon count, fixed it in both places. (was listed in help as having 79 emoticons, and in the emoticon tutorial as having 87 emoticons, both number counts were wrong.
  • Added the 'Links' menu to the main form, contains a link to the Official L.I.A.M.² web page!
  • Built the official L.I.A.M.² web page, as listed above, a link is provided in the new Links menu.
  • Several map modifications, I can't remember them at the moment, I will however list them at a later time.
  • Added the current version number to the caption of the main window. Now reads Leprichaun InterActive Map² Version #.#.#
New to 1.2.1:
  • Fixed a link in the What's New section. I had forgotten to make it open in a new window.
  • Changed the splash screen to require a minimum of 3 seconds of display time. Clicking the window will bypass the extra wait.
  • Rebuild about box, much prettier now...
  • Bug Fix: About Screen Kills L.I.A.M.²! - No more...
  • Bug Fix: Set destination hadn't been recoded to propperly view a map large enough to support new buildings. Caused L.I.A.M.² to crash.
  • Map Update - Added 'obsidian's Château de la Lumière' (added July 17, 2006 through mapupdate)
  • Map Update - Added 'obsidian's Hall of the Shifting Realms' (added July 17, 2006 through mapupdate)
  • Map Update - Moved 'obsidian's Silver Towers' (modified July 17, 2006)
New to 1.2.0:

OK, what's new...
Since everything from 1.1.9 hasn't been touched yet, all of that is new... :P so check the what's new and find out what that was if you haven't read it yet...new to 1.2.0 though... a few things...
  • Fixed a long time annoyance where the program would move to the bottom right hand corner
  • Recoded encryption method to avoid the horrible issues from 1.1.9
  • Fixed a strange zoom bug that was showing up in 1.2.0 when it was run for the first time. (was setting zoom to 1 so you'd zoom right in on a tile.
  • Optimized transfer protocol, should be slightly faster now.
  • Fixed a really strange bug in the what's new section. Everything was listing as part of the last version, causing everything to tab further and further right, making it completely unreadable.
New to 1.1.9:

It's been a while since the release of L.I.A.M.² 1.1.8, and the changes in 1.1.9 may not be the most notable right away, but they are fairly significant. Anyway, here it goes...
  • Added compatibility to windows display themes. Previous versions only looked good with the windows default colour selections.
  • Enabled graphical minimap to 9x9 zoom. Previously it was only function at 3x3 zoom. 11x11 zoom was implemented but disabled because it looks like crap.
  • Recoded the minimap/set destination minimap to use the same code. This eliminates a bit of code redunancy, not sure what kind of difference it'll make just yet though.
  • Redrew the buttons. that's right, redrew... they don't use standard fonts, I draw the lettering and attach it... Anyway, they're more visible now... :)
  • Removed the internal map. L.I.A.M.² now uses an external file named map.dat as it had pre-release versions of L.I.A.M. This was done to enable autoupdate on the minimap without having to release a whole new version of L.I.A.M.². Downside is that if you have L.I.A.M.² running directly on your desktop, you'll have a 3rd unsightly .DAT icon...
  • Enabled map autoupdate! was a little tricky, but it seems to be working now... Your map will update when you start L.I.A.M.². If you are not online, or don't want to update, hit the cancel button.
  • Added a splash screen! (the external map is encrypted, decryption takes a few seconds longer than I think it should... also checking for updates takes a second or two... decryption speed will be optimized in future releases...) The splash screen features a beautiful L.I.A.M.² logo created by Rio...
  • Map Update - Added userbuilding 'CrowSong's Blackbird Towers
  • Map Update - renamed Wolfshadow's and Seyda's Hideaway to Wolfshadow's and Crazy's RBC Casino
  • Map Update - Renamed some pubs, not sure which... it's been a long week
